Albert was awarded his Ster status at the September 2007 keur! Many thanks to Jenny Wells of Seacost Farm in Sabattus, Maine, her Assistant, Kassi Barker, and Jessie Farrar, their wonderful farrier. They spent many tireless hours training, working, and preparing Albert for the keur. Their hard work and dedication certainly paid off.
Wodiena (Falke) by Rypke 321. He is not only a "looker", he is athletic, supple, and aims to please his rider/driver. He is a sweet, gentle giant. Not only does he have impeccable manners, he is as steady as they come.
This incredibly versatile gelding has a commanding presence in the show ring, but can be ridden by a novice rider the next day. He was used as a school horse in Holland. Albert has miles of driving experience as a single but has also been hitched as a pair, 4-in-hand, 4-abreast and even tandem. He has also been shown in saddleseat. He has incredible quality of movement.
Watch for him in the dressage arena or at parades in 2009 with riders/trainers-- Ashton Clapp and Amy Poulin.
